Columbus, OH – Third-party logistics provider Hyperlogistics Group, Inc. is currently expanding its facility at Rickenbacker Global Logistics Park in Columbus.
The company is adding 100,000 square feet to the west end of its existing headquarters building, increasing total warehouse capacity to 507,000 square feet. The new space will satisfy the special requirements for Food Grade and Medical Supply storage that Hyperlogistics currently maintains throughout its operation. Hyperlogistics has also established another warehouse complex just north of the headquarters office.
Owners Seatta Layland and Geoff Manack cite business growth and the commitment to service excellence as the reasons for expansion. “We want to accommodate the requirements of new customers while meeting the increasing needs of customers who have been with us for a long time,” they said. “This is the right time to build.”
Hyperlogistics Group in unison with the Exeter Property Group has started construction with completion and occupancy scheduled for early 2017. Brocon Construction, Inc. of Grove City Ohio is the general contractor. Hyperlogistics Group built the existing facility in 2008.
Founded in 1973, Hyperlogistics Group is a privately owned third-party logistics (3PL) provider serving the manufacturing, retail and distribution industries. In addition to handling a wide variety of industrial products and consumer goods, the company specializes in the storage, distribution and transportation of food products and medical supplies.
