Hyperlogistics Receives Revalidation!
On June 2, 2015 the U.S. Customs and Border Protction agency (CBP) visited Hyperlogistics for a detailed review of their current security procedures and systems in place. As a C-TPAT (Customs and Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) Partner, a revalidation process was required to ensure the security measures reported by Hyperlogistcs is carried out and remain effective.
The CBP created the C-TPAT revalidation proess in accordance with SAFE Port Act guidelines, enacted into Federal Law in October 2006. It is a vital process to ensure that C-TPAT partners are upholding their pledge to support the fight against terrorism within the United States and at our borders.
Hyperlogistics is honored to be a partner in the C-TPAT Program and diligently support the importance of maintaining the integrity and security of our international supply chain. On July 20, 2015, Hyperlogistics proundly received revalidation from CBP, and that it's findings were based on the demonstration of effective security practices and continuing to meet the security criteria for eligibility.
Hyperlogistics encourages all levels of our country's supply chain (sea carriers, highway carriers, importers, rail carriers, etc.) to become a C-TPAT partner. It is the responsibility of our supply chain industry to uphold the ongoing effort to prevent terrorism.
